The following training courses and facilities are offered through the Forestry Division of Alberta Sustainable Resource Development (SRD):

• Hinton Training Centre
  
  The Hinton Training Centre develops and delivers training to forest and land managers and fire suppression personnel to ensure the sustainability of those resources and to protect life and property.
  
  
•  Transportation of Dangerous Goods – Online Training  
  
  The Transportation and Dangerous Goods (TDG) ground- and air-mode courses have been developed to:
   
  • Provide a working knowledge of TDG
  • Know the requirements in the workplace to comply with the TDG Act and Regulations
  • Support successful completion of the TDG examinations
    
    TDG online training is available to SRD staff only.
