Land Survey Products
Several non-digital Land Survey-related products are available. These products are
distributed by the Director of Surveys office and also by the Data Distribution
Unit of Resource Information Management Branch. Products include elevation diagrams
and wellsite control traverse plans.

Electronic and paper copy reproductions from microfiche are available for all early
editions of township plans.

A limited provincial coverage of Alberta Township System (ATS) township elevation
diagrams is available.
The complete set of 225 scanned plans is available in digital Group 4 TIFF format
(Tag Image Format) on CD-ROM.
Included with the CD-ROM is a descriptive readme file and a file listing the contents
of the CD. Both of these files are available below.

Digital Wellsite Control Traverse Plans, as Group 4 TIFF (Tag Image Format) files,
are available only in areas of unsurveyed territory. These plans detail bearings,
distances and monuments.

The Brass Cap Survey Monuments and Standard Survey Tapes are distributed directly
